About Kiarah Phillips

Kiarah Phillips has worked in the financial services industry since 2007. A licensed life and health insurance agent in multiple states, she has deep experience and knowledge in multiple disciplines, including college planning, retirement planning, health care planning, annuities, insurance planning, and more.

Kiarah founded her firm, N’Genius, because she saw the need for helping people locate trusted sources—people with morals and character for many different needs—including travel services, pet insurance—you can even call her and get referrals for real estate agents, doctors, and other professionals in her extensive network.

“I have a true passion for helping my clients with everything they might need, and especially helping educate them about financial matters. My pride is in changing the game by providing the best solutions for my clients’ needs. Not being bound by any one company allows the most objective advice, and in turn, that allows me to Change the Game!” she says.

Before founding N’Genius, Kiarah worked for Fidelity Investments. She saw the need for more education, and more information about retirement and college planning. She also wanted to empower an underserved Black community in substantive ways, including helping them with retirement strategies, and providing ways for them to leave a tax-advantaged legacy to their families.

In her free time, Kiarah doesn’t really have free time, because she adores community events. Very involved in her church, she is a volunteer coordinator for dozens of events each month, and you will find her almost every evening surrounded by volunteers working collectively to improve the local community. That said, Kiarah does love to get away and travel sometimes, probably because her mother worked for American Airlines and she started flying on planes at a young age. She added travel services after her friends began asking her for help.
